Stage 1: Initial 'get to know you' meeting
The initial face to face consultation is about determining if 'we are right for each other'. This meeting is your opportunity to ask important questions such as:
- Can they improve my financial position?
- Do I feel comfortable with them?
- What exactly will they do for me/us?
- How much does their service cost and is it worth it?
This meeting is free of charge and without obligation.
Stage 2 : Discovery - Planning for a better future
We will work together to ensure you understand:
- Where you are now
- Where you want to be at a given time
- What we both need to do to get you there.
Stage 3: Strategic Advice - Outlining what choices you have
In order to achieve any goal in life there are many different ways to go about it.
Many people simply avoid making decisions in life because they are either overwhelmed with multiple choices and don't have a basis to compare these options.
We realise this and work with you to make smart decisions about your future. We will:
- Outline the options most relevant to your situation
- Explain the advantages and disadvantages of each option
- Help you decide which option will work best for you.
Stage 4: Implementation - Getting you financially organised
Many people have good intentions to improve key aspects of their lives, whether it is financial, personal or health.
Inevitably though, life gets in the way and these intentions fall by the wayside.
Clients often express that actually getting things done is the hardest part - and that's where we come in.
After you've decided on your preferred strategy, Stephen & Partners starts getting you financially organised.
This involves working through a prioritised list of items and making things happen, for you and with you.
Many clients believe that this is the most important part of our service.
Stage 5: Progress meetings and ongoing advice
Reviewing your progress is vital to ensure you remain on track to achieve your financial goals.
Your personal circumstances or government legislation may change, making ongoing reviews critical to the success of your plan. A 'set and forget' approach will limit the full potential of your strategy.
Questions need to be asked such as:
- How are things going?
- Does our plan need to be adjusted?
- Have our priorities changed?
We work together to ensure your strategy stays on track and if any changes are required, they are implemented promptly.
